It was because of the dedication and expertise, warmth and kindness of the staff in the Upper G.I clinic and Oncology unit that David managed to survive oesophageal cancer.

There was always a friendly voice to offer help and advice when he was feeling at his lowest. There was always so much positivity when he faced the worst.

David liked a job done well and that is exactly what he received throughout his illness.

Thank you seems so insignificant but is said with great sincerity to all those who helped with his care and allowed us to spend those precious extra years with a remarkable man.

We would ask you to give generously to the Upper G.I. cancers fund in memory of his life, so that others may benefit from the same care that he received.

We hope that the money raised will help the medical staff, patients and families to continue fighting this awful disease.
